I'm basically Joan Didion at 28 minus the talent to write in such depth!

I was watching a documentary on Joan Didion where she was talking about how she felt when she was 28. NYC during that time was a hot mess! from drug mafia cases to Marilyn Monroe to change in government policies, it gets bizarre and bizarre.  It's my birthday tomorrow, I'm turning 23 and while listening to her I couldn't help myself but compare my life with hers, I can't figure what's right and what's wrong; what to speak and what not to - more importantly where to speak and where not to; 

Did anyone made a manual on how to behave in these times? 

I feel you Joan...
